How to Set up Google Analytics for a Website
Google Analytics is a free service offered by Google that tracks detailed statistics about a website’s traffic, and sources, and measures website conversions and sales. Before you can set up your website with Google Analytics 4 property, you must first sign-up for Google Analytics and learn how to set up your Google Analytics account.
Access Google Analytics Settings
To configure your site to connect to Google Analytics, first log into your website admin panel. Using the main menu (on the left of your screen) navigate to “CBX Ultra -> Settings” as shown below:
Then expand the “Google Analytics” tab as shown below:
Enter Google Analytics Measurement ID
With Google Analytics, you can create multiple analytics profiles/sub-accounts to track different websites within your main Google Analytics account. Each profile/sub-account is assigned a unique Measurement ID (e.g. starts with “G-“) upon creation. If you are not sure how to find yours, read Google’s helpful article on how to find your Measurement ID.
After you have obtained the Measurement ID from Google Analytics, enter the Measurement ID in the “Measurement ID” field as shown below.
Click the “Save” button to save your configuration.
Finalizing the Setup
Once you’ve completed these steps, your website is now integrated with Google Analytics. To view your website traffic data, please log/sign in to your Google Analytics account.
