How to Enable Maintenance Mode on Your Site
If you need to enable maintenance mode on your site, follow the steps outlined below. This will allow you to display a custom maintenance page or message to visitors while you work on your site.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Log in to your site’s back-end
First, log in to the admin area of your site. - Navigate to Maintenance Settings
Once logged in, navigate to the main menu on the left-hand side:- Go to “CBX Ultra -> Themify Settings -> General -> Maintenance.”
- Access the Maintenance Tab
In the “General” settings, expand the “Maintenance tab”. You will see three main options:- Disabled
- Enable and display a page
- Enable and display a message
- Choose Your Maintenance Mode Option
- If you want to display a custom maintenance page, select “Enable and display a page.”
Important: A new page will need to be created for this option, as a default Maintenance page does not exist. - If you prefer a simple message, choose “Enable and display a message” and input the text you’d like to display.

- Disabling Maintenance Mode
When you are ready to take your site live again, repeat the steps above and select the option to disable maintenance mode.
