To translate pages/posts:
- Please login to your website’s back end
- Open the page/post you wish to translate in the site editor.
- In the right sidebar, you’ll find a section labeled “Language”. Click on the “+” icon to add a translation for the selected language as shown below.
- The translation editor will appear with the “Translating [Page/Post Title]” as shown below. This is where you’ll perform the translation.
- Begin translating the content of your page/post into the desired language. You can translate the title, text, images, and other elements.
- Use the editor to make changes to the translated content. You can switch between the original and translated versions by clicking the tabs at the top. The “Dual” option is best for displaying the original and translated version side by side.
- Once you have made changes, save the translation by clicking the “Check Mark” icon shown below. This will automatically synchronize the translated content with the original language version.
- You can also use the “Copy” button to copy the content from the original language and then make necessary adjustments for the translated version.
- Once you’ve finished translating all the content, the progress bar at the bottom of your page must show 100%. Click on the “Complete” button to save your changes.
Note: You will not be allowed to complete the translation process unless the progress bar shows “100% complete”. - Repeat the translation process for each additional language you want to offer.
