Do I need my own SSL certificate?
Yes, we recommend purchasing your own SSL certificate if you intent to use your own domain as added security for your store.
Unfortunately we currently do not; however we’re currently in the testing phases of this new offering, contact us to be shortlisted as a potential customer who is interested in purchasing SSL certificates for an online store sales[at]caribonix.com.
Can I use an SSL certificate from a third party?
Unfortunately no, this is not possible at this time.
Do I need my own merchant account?
No, if you don’t have a merchant account you can use one of our 10+ extensions to connect your online store to payment providers, including PayPal, Authorize.net, 2Checkout and Google Checkout. A merchant account allows you to accept credit cards from your online store and get paid directly into your checking account.
Note: there is a small annual fee for extension usage; Extension provides additional functionality and enables your online store to connect to third party services.

Do you charge transaction fees?
No, we do not believe in the need to take from any of your profits. As a business, we understand the need to have fixed expenses as opposed to variable expenses, so you will never pay any transaction fees for your Caribonix.com online store.
Our ‘Online Seller’ plan provides unlimited number of SKUs, or specific products, you plan on selling in your store. SKU stands for “stock-keeping unit”, a number used to identify an item in your inventory.
What is “real-time carrier shipping”?
Real-time carrier shipping connects your online store with a UPS, USPS or FedEx account to calculate shipping costs in real time for your customers. This means you don’t need to manage your shipping rates manually.
