Preparing your Domain Names for Transfer to Caribonix.com

You may transfer your domain name in a few simple steps. However you must first prepare the domain name for transfer before you can authorize a domain name transfer from another registrar to Caribonix.com.

To Prepare Your Domain Name for Transfer to Us

1. Confirm that the administrative contact information for your domain name with your current registrar has your valid email address. A valid email address is required by both registrars (the one granting the transfer and the one receiving the incoming transfer) to send vital information related to your domain transfer to you.    NOTE: If your domain name has private registration, domain privacy or ID protection enabled or any other service that hides your personal information from the public, you will need to disable this service. To disable this service you must log into your current domain registrar admin panel or contact support directly to cancel this service.

2. Unlock your domain name at your current registrar. It is common for registrars to lock domain names in order to prevent unauthorized transfers; you must either log into you domain registrar admin panel or contact support directly to unlock your domain for transfer.
3. Get the authorization code (also known as an EPP code or transfer key) from your current registrar. This code/key is unique to your domain name; you will be required to enter this code/key during the transfer process of your domain.
   

   NOTE: Depending on your current registrar, this authorization code/key maybe displayed in the account admin panel. Alternatively, some registrars will require you to request this authorization code/key then email it to the administrative contact email address.
