Creating a New Form
Forms allows site owners to create unlimited interactive forms to collect data/information from their website visitors. Forms can be used for creating contact forms, post creation, calculators, employment applications and more.
Add a New Form
To add a New Form navigate to the main menu on the left Forms -> New Form. This will display a New Form modal/popup window, enter the Form Title (this should be a unique name which represent the purpose of your form it can be changed later if needed). Next enter the Form Description (optional).
Click on the Create Form button.
Your new form will be created, saved and you will be redirect to the Form Editor page.
Form Editor Page
Once on the Form Editor page a 5 Step instruction list will be displayed, this will educate you on how to add Form Fields to your form.
The Form Editor page contains an accordion toolbox located on the right, this toolbox will enable you to select or add different Field Types/Form Fields to your form.
- Standard Fields – provide basic form functionality.
- Advanced Fields – are for specific uses. They enable advanced formatting of regularly used fields such as Name, Email, Address, etc.
- Post Fields allow you to add fields to your form that create Post Drafts in Caribonix from the submitted data.
To add a Form Field to your form simply click on the field you wish to add and it will be added to the bottom of your form.
After the Form Field has been added to your form editor you may edit the individual field by clicking directly on it to expand and display the field configurable options.
To reorder the fields on your form, click on the top bar of the field then drag and drop them to arrange them in the desired order.
Finally click on the Update Form button.
