Transferring your Domain Names to caribonix.com
You may use the instructions below to transfer a domain name from your current registrar to us.
Before you can authorize a domain name transfer from another registrar to us, you must prepare the domain name and purchase the transfer. For more information, see Preparing to Transfer Domain Names to Caribonix.com.
ICANN regulations prohibit transferring domain names (except .au) that were registered or previously transferred in the last 60 days. For more information please read ICANN Policy on Transfer of Registrations between Registrars.
Authorizing a Domain Name Transfer to Us
- To initiate the authorization of your domain transfer process navigate to http://my.caribonix.com/Click on the “Transfer” button as shown below:
- Enter domain details using the image shown below as a guide:
- By default all prices are shown in USD however the option is available to select your preferred currency.
- Enter the domain name which you wish to transfer
- Select the extension of the domain name (e.g. .com, .net, .org etc.)
Purchase a domain name transfer from our website. If the extension you want to transfer is not listed, you cannot transfer the domain name to us. - Click the “Check Availability” button, this will check wither or not the domain name is eligible for transfer.
Once the availability of the domain has been checked a table will then be displayed providing additional options.
- Indicated that the domain name is available and is ready to be transferred.
- Will add the domain name to the shopping cart for purchase.
A period of 1 year is applied to all domain transfers extending your previous registration period time frame. - The next step will configure the domain name authorizationFirst you will need to retrieve the authorization code (also known as an EPP code or transfer key) from your current registrar sent via email or via their admin panel. Enter the code supplied in the “EPP Code” field as indicated below:
If you have not yet obtained the authorization code (also known as an EPP code or transfer key) from your current registrar you will not be allowed to proceed beyond this point. How do I get my authorization code to transfer my domain name to you?

Click “Update Cart & Proceed to Checkout” button.
Once the above steps have been completed you will be directed to an order summary page to review your order.
Clicking the “Checkout” button as shown below will then prompt you to either log in (if you already have an account with us) or enter the relevant details to register/create a new account.
Please note: For fields that do not apply to you (e.g. City, State/Region, Zip Code, etc.) enter “N/A” only.
After the transfer purchase order is complete, we will then send an email message to the domain name’s administrator contact (admin) requesting authorization of the transfer. The email contains the transfer IDs (transaction ID and security code) you need to authorize the transfer to us via clicking the provided link.
If you have provided a valid authorization code (also known as an EPP code or transfer key) and the domain is not locked the transfer will be completed within 3-5 days unless the current Registrar of record denies the request.
